Miley is up for ‘Best New Artist” at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. She will also be part of a very talented group, hosting the Video Music Awards later on this year. She will be hosting along with the company of Olympic Gold medalist, Michael Phelps, Lindsay Lohan, Scarlett Johansson, The Jonas Brothers, Ciara and the cast of High School Musical 3 and Twilight. If she wins this year’s Best New Artist” she will add to the many other awards she has been honored with. These awards include; Teen Choice Award (2008), Choice TV Actress Comedy Award (2008), Young Artists Award (2008) and three Nickelodeon Kid’s Choice Awards (2008). On September 2008 Miley will be performing at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City California. Along with other performers, to raise cancer awareness for cancer research in the Hope Benefit Concert.
Miley’s top selling singles include; “See You Again”, “Start All Over”, :Good And Broken”, “7 Things”, “Fly On The Wall” and “Just Stand Up”. Her last tour was among the most successful and lucrative concerts tours ever done. In 2009, Miley Cyrus will embark in her Breakout Tour, which is rumored to top her previous one.
